Post RCT

1. You can expect mild to moderate pain post root canal treatment for 2-3 days.

2. Do not chew hard food on the root canal treated tooth until you receive a crown on the tooth.

3. In case of temporary cements placed in between appointments, you should avoid drinking water and chewing food for 45 minutes as it is the minimum time required for the filling material to set or turn hard.

4. Prescribed medication should be taken without fail. 

5. Contact the dentist immediately in case of severe pain in the tooth.
